Football is completely unsustainable by any financial measure. It's not died yet.

I'd argue its getting there in its current guise  Bad Mood

If we win tuesday night I expect Ward and Miller to get in an experienced coach which has been mentioned and that will see us till end of the season. I also expect new players to be involved for the coventry game, squad is around 4 players lighter since the start of this decent run.

There were moments sat where the players were losing shape, especially down the defensive right.
Someone needs to come in and be the coach on the touchline. Pitman is there because he has the relevant coaching badge.

Lets see what the press conference brings

Nigel Adkins is who I would want in the dream scenario, can't see it happening. So would like Paul Tisdale. if we cant get him I wouldn't mind JFH or Owen Coyle.

Don't think Adkins is an unrealistic candidate. A club sitting second in the league banging on the championship door will have loads of applicants. Stumbling block is the gardening leave issue but surely that could be resolved.

Dunno what sort of money the new board are going to provide at the moment. Compensation to another club for pinching their boss might not appeal to them?

Have we ever pinched an in-work manager from another club? Quick research indicates Bobby Smith in 1978, but I don't know if I've forgotten more recent or obvious.

I have a horrible feeling that we are going to be lumbered with someone that will:

Not cost much/is currently unemployed (for a good reason)/has not got much of a track record/is an easy option.

Delete above as applicable.

Why do I say this? because looking at the make up of Seebeck 87 after the dust has settled a little does not fill me with a great deal of optimism, and I have the horrible feeling that the only thing that really interests them is ground redevelopment and the football side of things is not their highest priority.

If that is the case then they will be walking away much sooner than later, as everyone else has found in the past redevlopment is tied up in too much red tape and correspondingly will cost a great deal more money than anticipated and I do not get the impression that they are anywhere near being close to the millions that Andrew Black had at his disposal.

Prepared to be shot down in flames and say I am wrong, but my sixth sense in niggling me something rotten!

 Hmmm
