I like the idea of Sousa, but he'd never come here

A conversation with any Swansea fan would soon disabuse you of that notion.

It's good harmless fun, but people really should try and be realistic here...we wont be getting anyone other than a cheap option. Bit like Donny appointing Flynn when Saunderes did a runner.

I would be adverse to someone like Graeme Jones.

Doncaster v Yeovil - crowd approx 6.5k - not that great.

I wouldn't have thought Donny's finances were too clever...they had that policy last season, similar to ours of sticking an agent in charge of player recruitment.

This is true and Donny don't have much of a following even when the going is good, it wasn't that long ago they struggled to get more than 3,500 home average before the move to the Keepmoat.

They must still be paying fairly high wages following the relegation from the Championship last year and having crowd of around 6k average without restructuring of finances they could be on the slide.

Mirror makes some interesting claims...

Adkins turned it down and we want Coppell?

Their chairman has done a great job for them...he's obviously realistic, so went with Flynn a cheap option. If you put yourself in our Board's shoes, and assuming they genuinely don't intend to dump Newell/Stein on us, it's a really tough call. Had a bit of a think about it...and haven't got a clue..

I'm amazed that people still take any notice, especially considering the shit they've printed these last few weeks.

ah right.

when you say linked, do you mean mentioned on here or what? There's been a few names mentioned that are decent shouts. I'd love to see Adkins here but it's about as likely as you getting the job.
