If PDC comes back then I'm boycotting.

What if Geoff Boycott is next manager?

It's exactly the same when people protest against a manager before a ball has been kicked.

Irrelevant of who the manager is

Well considering Mike Newell was mentioned whilst we still had a manager - his appointment now would seem very premeditated wouldn't it?

Also I'd be a little pissed off to see the guy that won us the Champions League sacked a few months later

People didn't want PDC and some threw the toys out.  Whoever we get there will be toys thrown out, especially as it is never going to be the same kind of appointment as PDC.

The new board cannot win with this appointment.  For the fans it's like Fergie falling out with the ManU owners and them bringing in anyone but Mourihno.  They won't please the natives whatever they do

This is true. Unless they pull a rabbit out of the hat and get Adkins.

The new appointment will be a big sign of whether we're shopping at Poundstretcher or Harrods. If its newell then we will be trying to bring back trading shiny beads.

See Paolo's odds have gone up, now joint favourite with Jimmy Floyd.

I think JFH could be good, gives a bit of balance having a black manager after PDC and he has one of those cool Dutch accents. And he reminds me a bit of a cat. What's not to like?

On the radio Ward was talking about them bringing in an experienced coach next week so that they could get back to concentrating on playing.

If it turns out to be Mike Newell, I think we can guess where its headed ...  Cheesy
