Phil Brown's record isn't that great.

He did save a girl from jumping off the Humber Bridge though Roll Eyes which enhances his CV no end!

I'm going to phone Wrexham FC now for a larf and ask to speak to Andy Morrell as a representative of Swindon Town and see what comes of it.

I'm happy the likes of Newell/Buckle seem to have gone away for now. Not sure if that's dangerous for the rumour mills though?  Hmmm
Reckon if their going to appoint Newell they will break the takeover deal done to soften the blow. I'm not writing the Newell option out at all, it may be an easier choice for the incoming board.
Edit: I know the deal has to be done first anyway but some seriously good news will have to be announced as I haven't read/ heard anyone say Newell will be an acceptable option.

I spoke to the dopey mare on reception and, as a representative of Swindon Town FC, asked to speak to Mr Morrell regarding a private matter. She has taken my mobile number and will pass it on to him when he returns from this morning's training session. Jeez, i'm getting in deep here  Yes

This might turn out to be the only positive of Di Canio's departure. I'm laughing at my desk just thinking about the possibilities of where this might go...

I'm getting very worried here. Do I offer Mr Morrell the job outright, or say he is among a list of prospective managers? I could say it is between him and Hockaday, his Conference nemesis, and invite him down to Calne for an interview.

I'm shitting myself now.

Dean Holdsworth has just been sacked from Aldershot, there's another name to the list.

I have just had a phone call from the dippy mare. Turns out she really isn't so dopey after all. Someone on here presumably has rung Wrexham FC and told them about this. Thanks for spoiling the fun Crying I've been told not to "waste club time".

You know who you are.
