I'm happy the likes of Newell/Buckle seem to have gone away for now. Not sure if that's dangerous for the rumour mills though?  

Reckon if their going to appoint Newell they will break the takeover deal done to soften the blow. I'm not writing the Newell option out at all, it may be an easier choice for the incoming board.
Edit: I know the deal has to be done first anyway but some seriously good news will have to be announced as I haven't read/ heard anyone say Newell will be an acceptable option.

I spoke to the dopey mare on reception and, as a representative of Swindon Town FC, asked to speak to Mr Morrell regarding a private matter. She has taken my mobile number and will pass it on to him when he returns from this morning's training session. Jeez, i'm getting in deep here
