The only reason he would choose us over Blackpool or Forest is if he's relocated down south and likes a challenge. Then again, if he's looking for a club with stability then we've got no chance. No one knows whether we can afford him or not. |

Paolo resigned last week after revelations about his salary.
Worked a deal with Jed for a week off without pay to reduce costs for February pending FL approval
Jed tried to phone him to let him know about the 24 hour delay but had the wrong number.
Legally Paolo's new contract expired yesterday, so he went public to let everyone know not knowing that Jed was trying to call him.
Takeover will be completed today and Jed will put a tweet out asking everybody to let Paolo know Jed has got a wrong number.
Paolo phones Jed. Jed tells Paolo he can bring in 5 new signings
Paolo signs a contract for life
Paolo and Jed hold a scarf above there heads in front of the DRS

I think he potentially would be , he has probably moved down south as he was at Southampton for a couple of years. We as a club will be in the promotion mix with new owners and if we are led to believe anything from this sorry affair very little debt and a good squad of players. Normally managers are coming in because the previous guy has been sacked and the club is struggling at the wrong end of the table so I would not discount Adkins completely we need to remember he was at Scunthorpe before Saints so he knows how to work on a budget. |
