Stephens, another creative midfielder and a striker would be lovely before the deadline.

You'll have to ask sax about the magical properties of my balls.
To be honest, we're more interested in your wife's cookery book.

She took it with her.

Modou Barrow who we apparently had a bid turned down for is set to join Swansea for £1.5 million.

Surely us signing him was pure fantasy from Power?

I am pretty sure that Power said we had put in a bid for him but the bid was rejected, rather than the player rejecting us. Not surprising if he went for £1.5m.

Fair enough then. He sounds like he was courted by a few premiership clubs (as well as Celtic) too. If this is the standard of striker we are looking at, then fair play! (nb, he could still be shit)

If a lower league team signs a player from overseas you can almost guarantee that a top flight side has already taken a look. Power knows how the scouting network works.
It's only odd in so much as we don't have a clue about what's going on with so many aspects of the Swindon Town (from ST sales to Tijane's probable early departure) but we know, through the BBC, that he put in a bid for this player.

Maybe worth asking Swansea if we can loan him till January to help with his adjustment to English football. They can only say yes or tell us to piss off

I could have sworn I just saw Robert Earnshaw queuing up to pay for petrol at Shell Marlborough Road.

He scored for the Chicago fire at the weekend. That's not to say he wasn't in Swindon today. In other car news we briefly followed Massimo Luongo's Range Rover Sport on Saturday. Well, I presume it was him as the reg number was ma55 Lu0. Nice motor (as you would expect)
