Liverpool away in the League Cup 1980. Anyone have the wheels left on their car after the game.

Reminds me of the joke going around my school at that time. Why does the Mersey run through Liverpool? Because if it walked it would be mugged.

Well, we know where we're goin' But we don't know where we've been And we know what we're knowin' But we can't say what we've seen And we're not little children And we know what we want And the future is certain Give us time to work it out

To celebrate the opening of the Leeds - Liverpool canal, they let the people of Leeds choose the barges & the people of Liverpool pick the locks.

Russell Lewis. Not everyone’s cup of tea but put in a good shift over 7 seasons with the club.
Néstor Lorenzo. Went up in the world, from the Stadio Olimpico to casually chipping it around at the County Ground. Seemingly not breaking sweat, but in a good way.
Massimo Luongo. Very good player but with a rubbish exit strategy. I’d like to think that was down to his agent and not him.
Des Linton. His impact in 8 appearances in 1999 was such that I’ve no recollection of him at all. Apparently he played in the 6-0 home defeat against Ipswich (who found out that playing against 10 wasn’t more difficult).
