I'm surprised he has retired from all formats to be honest, i was expecting it in the One Day format but not Test's aswell.

The last time he played in England i remember the comentators saying it would probably be the last time he'd play over here so i'm not suprised he's quit altogether,he is 38 as well.
Goes without saying he's an absolute legend.

I was aswell sonic. Wonderful batsman. Always will be remembered by Warwickshire fans for the 501 against Durham. All the best for the future.

last time they were over they played a pretty much second string sussex team, as is the way with touring sides, it was a 50 over match and the windies needed 140ish off 10 overs when lara came into bat.
they reached the total with 2 overs to spare.
it was the most awesome display of batting i have ever seen.
