Armazing what they've acheived in a relatively short space of time and they've also done it properly.
Hopefully they'll get back in the League at some point.

The Conference will be a hard league to get out of, they will be up against some teams with the same fan base and crowds and money, not like the leagues they have come through so far.
Really pleased for them though, would love to see them back in the league as quickly as possible.

The conference is such a high standard now compared to 20 years ago. It is in affect, a 5th tier of the football league. When you look at the league table there are some big clubs down there and also Oxford  |

You will also get people jumping on the bandwagon and their support will probably rise considerably now they are at a reasonable standard. |

Proper old school Wikipedia says "Planning permission was given to developers, David Wilson Homes, in November 2004, with Section 106 agreement signed in October 2005, for a mixed use residential scheme on the site including 570 flats" Wikipedia also says that Wimbledon relocated to Milton Keynes, which just isn't true, but I reckon the bit about property development is probably right. |

Suprised anyone really considers Plough Lane fit to build houses on though. Werent there electric pilons running through it?

My recall of Plough Lane was a shit corner of land, between railways and roads, with those pylons...a bit like the shit-tip of ground Brady wanted us to build a new stadium on. |

Proper old school They now own the ground they currently play at which was previously owned by Kingstonian and rented to AFc. It's now the other way around after Kingstonian were close to going under and had to sell their ground. |

Seeing as there are only 3 tiers in the Football League, it would make the conference the 4th tier. Though the conference is the 5th tier in the English league pyramid. |
