According to DW on the adver site, he is trying to bring in an experienced midfielder and striker on loan.
Perhaps in time for tonight but more likely I would have thought for Saturday

We need a central midfielder that can dictate play and play those killer balls - but we have needed one all season so who says we can get one now ?
I suppose we also need a striker, paynter while working hard is not putting many away so it adds to the pressure on Cox, so if we can get someone in that can come and score a few goals it may take a bit of pressure of Cox and he will start firing on a regular basis again

My understanding was for a week or so after the loan window closed was the emergency loan period, then it reverts to ones that run to the end of the season if i remember rightly.

Any loan now is classed as an 'emergency loan' but it is just a worn out phrase as all teams sign loan players anyway |
