This is mainly aimed at people who bother to watch the reserves, but is he any good?
I don't think i was the only one baffled when he came on for Whalley (who in my opinion was having a better game than usual).

I dont think he hardly touched the ball when he got on .. another in the Pook mould .. but perhaps even more anonymous
Probably a first team regular for League Two next year then ! :-))(

have never seen him in the reserves, but iffy must rate him to keep putting him on the bench ahead of people like roberts & nicolau.

I've seen Wells in the reserves and he looks like he could become a decent player.
Of course doesn't mean he will.

I saw Wells play in the preseason at Crawley, and he looked anonymous alongside Pook who did stand out with his two goals, although little else. I'm dubious about using Pook so generously this early in the season, let alone bloody Ben Wells...! :x

I think Mr Wells has a bright future. I think he will be better than Pook.

For my money, he just looks too small at the moment. Needs to get down the gym and bulk up a tad to survive in a League 1 midfield, and probably even moreso next year.

i think the critisicism that pook gets is unwarrented! he is not the most talented but he gives 100% (a bit like david duke) and you cant ask for more than that in my opinion
