They came pretty close to the semi-finals, which is better than could be expected before the tournament. We really need to work on Twenty20 more though, can't help but think we fuck about with the team selection too much.
I reckon things would have been different if Flintoff was fit.

Most people know i dont really like cricket but i have watched all this and really enjoyed it. From watching just this(never watched any cricket before) 2 things i have noticed is that Foster is a good wicket keeper and that we have no real big hitters oh and peiterson plays stupid shots when he dont need to. Would i be right or should i watch alot more cricket before commenting?

You would be correct. I would like to add to what you've said,Luke Wright is woeful,i have never liked him; his lack of performance in this competition just adds to my near hatred of him as a 'cricketer'. I know someone is going to mention his innings against the netherlands,but he hasn't proven himself against a non-associate country. |

That's just the way he is, though he seems to have calmed down a bit nowadays - I've even seen him playing defensively in test matches. He's the only player we've got that would walk in to every other team in the world. |
