I met my cousin who lives up in Bolton the other day, I haven't seen him for ages. It made me realise that bolton/manchesterish accents sound quite nifty. Rather than going up there to live for a few years do you rekon that there are people that give lessons to learn them, or does it just take practice? I wouldn't mind having one because Windsorish accents sound bland

I can teach you how to speak Bolton.It is important to remember that they are incapable of saying the word 'The'.The hospital = Thospital, The eyes=Theyes(pronounced thighs) i.e " I looked 'im in theyes ", The M62=them 62 etc. They also refer to bread rolls as barm cakes, and sell things in chip shops like donner barm, chips and gravy.That's all you need to know.
