well....today has come and at the beginning of the season i remember looking at this one and going 'wow, we could send city down on that day'.....looks like that won't be happening though.

i don't know if im looking forward to this or not, we'll see come 4.45pm if i am or not! knowing the town today we'll win even though its too late.

Come on town, do something to be proud of today!  Beers

Can't say I'm looking forward to it. IT would be nice to think that we could halt City's playoff push but our squads morale must be flat as a pancake.

Happy R day everyone Sad

I really wanted to go, but my dad ain't going so no lift haha. Ah well, i would be amazed if we won today. We got to attack as we have nothing else to lose 4-3-3 formation for me.

Jerel back in a 352.

Key factor will be how our fans react to the lads early on. Getting behind them will make all the difference.  Abuse, ridicule , booing etc if anything goes wrong won't help.

The common enemy is Brizzle. Lets wipe the smirk off their faces. Cheesy

Jerel Ifil has been named in the starting line-up for Town at Bristol City, with Steve Jenkins and Lukas Jutkiewicz also set to start.

There are six changes to the Town side that were defeated by Brentford last weekend with no place for Andy Nicholas in the squad.

At the back, Steve Jenkins and Jerel Ifil return with Andy Gurney dropping to the bench.

Lukas Jutkiewicz will start up front alongside Brighton & Hove Albion loanee Chris McPhee with Trevor Benjamin and Jamie Cureton named on the bench.

Swindon Town: Rhys Evans, Jack Smith, Sean O'Hanlon, Steve Jenkins, Jerel Ifil, Toumani Diagouraga, Gareth Whalley, Charlie Comyn-Platt, Aaron Brown, Chris McPhee, Lukas Jutkiewicz

Substitutes: Michael Pook, Andy Gurney, Trevor Benjamin, Jamie Cureton, Ricky Shakes

jesus, just looking at fixtures played on this day in the past on

http://www.swindon-town-fc.co.uk

last two, Swindon 1 Barnsley 2 29.04.00. Last home game of a depressing season that was.

Swindon 0 Portsmouth 2 29.04.95, confirmed our relegation that day.

How depressing.

Come on Town, let's have a much better performance today.
