My wife has discovered a fondness for classical music, particularly where the violin is prominent, after traveling with me in my van where it's all I listen to. Lately we've been rocking out to this...
I love a bit of classical music myself. It's good all one needs, from chill-out music to going on a sesh tunes.

I've always had a penchant for rap that samples classical too.

Love classical.
Have for a long time enjoyed modern classical pianist Ludovico Einaudi. A lot will say "who?" but it is likely that nearly any of you that have watched the BBC or even just seen an "ident" then you will certainly have heard Einaudi's tinkling of ivories.
However, I am a huge fan of his musical score for the beautiful French film The Intouchables.
Also a personal fave is Nuvole Bianche (White Clouds). Some of you may even have heard this in Derek here it is for your ears...

He's absolutely brilliant. Divenire, comfortably his best piece for me;

If you like Einaudi, you should check out one of his influences. I can’t get enough of Wim Mertens:

'Beyond the Fleeting Gales' by Crying. It's 5 years old now, but this constitutes new music for me.

Haha. I prefer Gypsy Kings - Bamboleo but there is also an Aussie band called The Bamboos. Naturally, they are pretty decent
