To be fair it is League 2 which he excels in ....

But I still rate him more highly than I ever rated Timlin

 Fishing.

I wonder if  Banana has caught hold of him yet?

As for the not rating Timlin compared to Pook, that has to be one of the most ludicrous things ive heard.

I'd say Timlin is better, but he hasn't looked great so far this season. Possibly the worst player on the pitch on Saturday, and that's saying something. He has done better for us before though so hopefully he can turn it round fast, otherwise Easton will be seriously questioning why he is on the bench.

I was including the pre-season matches too, in which Timlin didn't impress me all that much

People comparing Pook and Timlin? It wasn't that long ago people would spend most of their energy on trying to destory the local lad over how shit they thought he was. I've said it many times, he was far better than our ans made him out to be. He was forever the scapegoat.

Goo d uck to Pook...treated like shit by the club really...didnt hear him complain when he was owed wages...was pleased to pull on the red shirt....not really a great fan of his but hope he does well....not a great fan of Timlin, but its time to get behind the players not slating after one match.

Yep. Was proud to wear the shirt, always gave 100% and improved a lot over the years. He wasn't good enough for Swindon any more in my opinion, but I hope he goes on and does well.

Be fair. Timlin has had some good games against some good teams. For example Scunthorpe at home last season he had an excellent game.

Only time Pook ever put in a good performance was Boston United (soon to be relegated to conference north) and Crawley pre season.
