In defence of my avatar, I think part of the reason he's moved to Croydon is because it's a lot closer to home for him. Perhaps he also felt he'd done what he could at Blackpool and it was time to move on.
Also with the money he can build twenty new chicken huts.
Also the Blackpool owner's a tight arse. Oyston paid himself more than the total wage bill of their Premiership season. The players had to sue Blackpool for their bonuses when they got promoted to the Prem.

Holloway confirmed at palace. He must of got fed up with northern monkeys because I can't think of any other reason he would leave Blackpool for south London.
I reckon he's realised he's a shit manager and had his career defining spell at Blackpool. So he jumped ship to the security of a four year contract at Palace, knowing he'll get sacked in six months (when Palace realise he's shit) with a big fat compensation payout.

Good move for Appleton, Pompey couldn't refuse the money Blackpool were offering...even if it was only pennies!

after bristol shittys home defeat today and them calling for there manager to fuck off, my mate who supports them sent me this Il Raderino, on 11 November 2012 - 04:01 PM, said: I see your point but, returning to football, I felt that Johnson was a bit like that, able to get a team to over perform the skill levels of individuals. Who would you have in mind to do the job now for City?
Paolo Di Canio Graham Turner Micky Mellon Roy Keane Anyone with a bit of bite about them.

I started following John Sitton on Twitter last week. He's now a cab driver, and fully unhinged.
