Why would you be advised to stay away from the traditional away pub?!
Cos he wasn't actually advised that but thought he's say something to stir it up?

I thought about Earls Court, but the pubs are a bit of a walk from the station.
Obviously the one to avoid is Fulham Broadway because it will be full of Chelsea.
Yeah, fair play, but heard on another forum that 8 bells was no longer an 'away' pub. Few beers at Paddington and then see where everyone is meeting / going to.

I've got some fulham mates who said it isn't an away pub anymore, the london boys are still heading there though. The only issue will be if the police are there and move us all on, but hey that's what mobiles are for.

They're not playing until Sunday. There are a few good pubs a few yards from Fulham Broadway. If you want a good fry up then turn right out of FB, walk to the junction, cross over, follow the road for about quarter of a mile and you will see a cafe on the left (right next to a roundabout).

Fulham have had hardly any arrests for years, they are an aggro free club.
The Fulham supporters club base themselves at the Golden Lion. To be honest, if you are in small groups Im sure they would fancy a chat though.
There are 4 or 5 other pubs around Putney Bridge (other than the 8 bells or the Golden Lion).
In terms of drinkers, Swindon will outnumber Fulham 4 to 1 around the ground.
