I think if people want to be upset about the alleged fee,then fine.People saying its a good fee,stop moaning aren't necessarily correct.I compare it to the Duncan Shearer situation in a way-800,000 was a reasonable fee but it ended up costing us promotion.Some might say 1.2 million is a good fee but it might cost us our league 1 place if we cant get a decent replacement(remember Terry Gibson?)

To be fair to Terry Gibson he used to get on the blind side of the defenders because he was a fucking midget. About the only thing going for him.

Austin is history, good luck to the lad. Played his part here and I really don't blame him for moving on.
What is more concerning is the fact that it looks more and more likely that we will enter the second half of the season with a strike force who have under 5 league goals between them this season. We will go down if two decent strikers aren't brought. We needed one when Austin was here, now we need two. Mr Fitton needs to give Wilson some cash or face the consequences next season.

might be waiting for Austin to complete before spending the cash. its the lack of a decent rumour on strikers that worries me. there are surely irons in the fire though. |
