Title: Re: Friday quiz Post by: pauld on Friday, November 10, 2017, 11:39:57 I'm not convinced there's enough coffee in the jug to even get to number 5 tbh as it would have to fill the other branches first, esp the large section to the right
Title: Re: Friday quiz Post by: 4D on Friday, November 10, 2017, 12:06:44 It's number 9 :idiot:

As jug 9 is closer to the first jug, it could be possible....

Just trying to put it into perspective. Title: Re: Friday quiz Post by: Tails on Friday, November 10, 2017, 14:21:33 It would take ages for number 5 to even get a drop. I'd go so far as to say that NONE of the cups will get any. There's not much coffee in that jar!

This may be a trick question as the number 9 is the same as the number 6 upside down. So I would say 20 for actual 9s and another 20 for 6s ? So 40. Title: Re: Friday quiz Post by: Flashheart on Friday, November 10, 2017, 15:22:25 In what American state was Barack Obama born?

Yep. That initial receptacle could be 70ft long and we're looking at the end of it. Therefore no cups receive any coffee. Title: Re: Friday quiz Post by: horlock07 on Friday, November 10, 2017, 16:21:38 I once did a quiz where one of the questions was.... In which city would you find Dum Dum Airport? We went Calcutta, which is correct, the given answer was Bombay, which is incorrect. This sort of thing annoys me When we were in Lancaster we answered the question 'how many species of snake are there native in the UK' with three, but were marked wrong as there apparently were 4. We went through this and I pointed out that a Slow worm which they were counting, is not a snake and the quiz bloke would not have it and refused to check Google when w suggested it. That combined with the discovery that the team of locals cheated on the scoring every week so they won off their mate who set the quiz led to us jacking it in. So yes such things are bloody irritating! Title: Re: Friday quiz Post by: horlock07 on Friday, November 10, 2017, 16:23:17 It was until March 2017.
