My inlaws bought this Hisense Smart TV, but the 'smart' aspect doesn't work because it's not connected to the internet. I can search for and find the SSID and get as far as bringing up a screen to enter the WPA key but the remote doesn't have any letters on it, there is no on-screen keyboard and thus no way of actually inputting the WPA key. I mean, what the fuck? Any ideas? Could I change the WPA key to all numbers? Or buy a different remote? Doesn't seem that way - if I press the same key twice, two * come up, thus not allowing me to cycle through. This brand is very much up and coming and gets good reviews considering the price but I've not seen anything like this about them until reading this thread. Hence why I think it may be faulty.
