Exactly.  There has to be some sort of reason that someone has signed or tired to sign a premiership top goal scorer...

Think Sullivan has touched a nerve TBH.  QPR's asking price is reasonable in this day and age so there is a reason he hasn't moved yet, asking too high a wage maybe?

There must be one of his "mates" on here or Twitter who has an insight

I wouldn't want one of his 'mates' saying anything. It's weird that nothing has happened. And so be it.

He may not agree with the Hull medical asesment, but he did make reference to it:

Since he's played 69 for QPR and 82 for Burnley I'm guessing its a slow burner !

I'm relatively sure those quotes don't come from the mouth of Charlie Charlie Austin.

I was told a year or so ago that Austin would never get a top premier league club because his knees are shot to bits, didn't think much of it at the time but the longer it goes on the more believable it becomes.
I don't think QPR's price tag to to high when you look at the money being offered for players like Jordan Rhodes, Dwight Gayle and Andre Gray. £15m for a player who scored close to 20 goals last least season, so I am starting to this maybe his knees aren't great.

If he does have those medical issues - do you not think (like Hull) someone would have agreed a fee, spoken to the player....and then the transfer breaks down due to a failed medical.

There is no way in this day and age you could get that far into any transfer deal without it being in the media...

Still seems odd that there has been no major bids yet. How many teams squads would he not improve? Not many...

The rumour I have heard (no idea of its truth) is that his wage demands are a little optimistic

He'll have got his move by deadline day. It's usually the case with top strikers. Many go then and QPR for once are playing hardball. They know someone will come in and make a desperate bid. I'm surprised Bristol haven't put their £20m bid in yet.....

For someone with no ligaments, Austin isn't doing too badly.
