I love the bit where he says
" we are not a million miles from playing well. I have watched the video of the Notts County game and for 40 minutes we were the better side"

Relegation 6 pointer in November, between us and City. Who'd have thought that when the fixture list came out? Especially with their "premiership attacking force"!!

I see it as a must win game. Sure there is a long way to go, but we could be 10 points behind safety should the unthinkable happen. And that is a massive gap.

I hate to say it, and I hate to agree with the use of the term but I am beginning to think that tomorrow is a must win situation if we are to avoid relegation. A defeat at home against them would leave us at our lowest ebb confidence wise, a victory would be a spring board for greater things. A draw, well it wouldn't be the worst thing.
I suppose a must not lose way of thinking, maybe more applicable.

Damn right Jan, it's a game we can't lose IMHO, a draw would keep our run going, and I think despite it being at home I think suit us better than them, it really would boost their inferiority complex.

A draw in my opinion isn't good enough. We need a win. We really need to start winning our home games against lower opposition. We need to claw our way back. I don't care about our performance or how we do it, but want and expect three points on friday! Come on!!

home games against lower opposition
Yeah, but we are bottom not them .I get your point though ,after 3 good draws against teams who will be probably be in the promotion shake up come the end of the season,we need to beat teams who are near us. I have to say that i'm nervous, its a big enough game without the added pressure of it being a six pointer as well ,but that is what it is.

It's a crucial game, you could say a draw would be ok, but at the moment I don't think so. We are home to a team at the bottom, if there's any chance of us staying up we have to start getting wins and one tomorrow is essential. And there is no way I want to see city pulling away from us.
