Has the driving of a car improved on this version? GTA IV was awful for it

It's completely different. I actually really liked IV's driving. V's is quite arcadey.

Thats not so good I thought GTA IV driving was very arcadey. I am with Matanza on this I thought the driving was the weakest part of GTA IV.

I disliked intensely IV's driving too; this one is much better. I'm not sure whether to describe it as 'arcadey' or not, just much less frustrating. Shooting and the cover system is much better too - they've clearly nicked some stuff from other games notably RDR

As long as there's still an inexhaustible supply of taxis I'm not too bothered about the driving. I do love the sky diving in Gay Tony's though and I know that's here, so I'm happy.

Well, just started it and drove the Audi R8 as Franklin. Cars handle much better, seems more realistic to me, easier to keep on the road and don't blow up after a couple of prangs.
Can't believe how good the graphics are. It makes me want to just go and explore, something I never really had the urge to do in GTA before. Not really sure I can judge a game on a few minutes of play, but looks and seems incredible. Itching to spend a whole weekend rinsing it.
Edit: And the music. I love ambient electronica and having had the game on pause while I did the washing up, I must admit it's very likeable and has a bit of a Global Communication feel to it. Great shit.

Very enjoyable so far, although i'm still getting used to the controls, so have spent pretty much half my time running from cops as I keep accidentally punching people in the face.

I was really pleased to see that there's a tram you can take. I loved taking the tram in Oslo and this will help replace that...

It's fucking ace. Still can't get my head around how big the map is and the level of detail is immense.

Ditto I just spunk all my cash on taxis to and from the strip clubs Is this a case of a game mirroring reality?
