Usually beat us though.

I've got a few mates who are Oldham fans, they've been in this division for something like 15 or 20 seasons now, they reckon if they go down they won't be back. Dunn isn't the problem although he isn't a football manager, they do have completely inept owners and are a tough sell when they're just down the road from City and United not to mention all the other small clubs in the area.

Yep, it's a sad reality, but Lancashire has way too many league clubs for them all to be sustainable, especially with two totally dominant ones. United, City, Bolton, Blackburn, Burnley, Preston, Rochdale, Wigan, Bury, Accrington, Blackpool, Fleetwood, Morecambe and Oldham, and then a bunch more in Merseyside. Impressive historically, but I don't suppose it'll last much longer.

...and that's why FC United of Manchester and Salford City will both eventually hit wall.

Not sure about that. They've survived thus far, and to an extent, it is the historic, local town pride and intensity of distinct towns in a relatively small area that sustains each club. Of course, there will be times when one or more of them face some kind of sporting and / or financial hardship - it has happened before and will again. It would be a sad day indeed if some of them go completely and the prospect of football in the region being reduced to a few super clubs.

Confirmed.

Edit: or is it. I think I've been miles story'd.

I don't take delight in someone losing their job, even a colossal horses penis like cotterill. He was doing a fine job.

It's cooper favourite yet?

The reaction, which I assume would be a meltdown, if we appointed him would be quite assuming.

I'd probably take him if I'm being honest, pretty reasonable career as a manager.  Anyway would never happen, not the type Power is after.

What a shame! Probably our fault for "cheating" last season.
