Pursuit of Happyness is awesome.
Lovefilm is awesome. I'm on 2 at a time unlimited and also get all blu-rays, they always post out the day after they get them back, and sometimes the same day.
I just watched sex drive, entertaining, if not a classic.

I'm joining LoveFilm tomorrow - I know a few of you lot are members... is it worth it and what package do you have?
Have a look on the net for some free trial codes. You should be able to watch for free for the first 3/4 months if they haven't changed.

Watched Seven Pounds the other day - strange film, but not bad. Unlike Slumdog, which I turned off after half an hour.

I think I'm going to upgrade to the unlimited package soon and bundle in the game rentals because Rich wants to rent games.
I've kissed goodbye to a social life, so much so that 4 films a month isn't really enough anymore.

Watched Ong Bak tonight. Was pretty impressed with the stunts, thought the film was a bit tedious though. Overall I enjoyed it and I'd probably watch parts again just to see the moves.

Recently watched the new Indiana Jones, which was shit; and the first Night at the Museum or whatever it's called, which was dull from the offset with the cast of stereotypical broken family characters but picked up as it went along.

Pans Labyrinth was the film of choice last night. Very strange film, certainly not seen anything like it and I quite enjoyed it for its originality.

Started watching Gomorrah in the early hours. A critically acclaimed Italian film about mobs and gangsters and stuff with several plot strands. Very quickly got bored of that so watched The Condemned instead, starring Stone Cold Steve Austin and Vinnie Jones in one of those reality TV / last man standing type efforts.
That's more like it.

I've bought Gomorrah but can't get beyond the first 20 minutes, so I've bought the book and then I'll watch the film. Watched Independence Day last night (again), it's probably my biggest film guilty pleasure. Good ol' fashioned popcorn shite... But I love it, everything up to the attack is great

I watched that the other night too, but it was better than what I expected it to be. I quite liked it.

Saw Seven Pounds on Friday as well was a bit predictable but hey-ho decent enough sentimental Big Willie romp through. 6/10 Step Brothers last night, which I had reservations about before watching. Not bad though at all. I think it’s one of those you’re going to love or hate but I enjoyed it and it has a few amusing moments in the film. 6.5/10
