Make or break time for him, he's going to have to get back to his best quickly next season, otherwise he'll be playing out his year in the reserves. I'm reasonably happy that it's just a year, gives him a chance to impress, without tieing us down to anything long-term

I'd have thought we're bound to sign another left back, he's the only natural one at the club currently.

Not much of a surprise Sad who else is going to come in for him?

I'll reiterate previous points... if he can be kept fit, focussed and motivated by the management (and himself, that'd be nice...) he can be a good left back in League 1, let alone League 2.

I'd agree with that. Thought he was back to his best for a 2 month (ish) period after christmas, but that was only temporary it would seem

In my opinion, the bloke needs to concentrate on his football and not going out on the lash in town...

It's wrong, i remember seeing an interview once with Alan Shearer saying "now i can have a drink, it's been too long", he must have given up booze for a long time.

they are nothing to do with you and you can't expect them to live to your expectations but they don't give a fuck what you think and rightly so. these are real people who only live once. let them enjoy themselves. if i could id do the same.

And he's been given a chance most blokes would love to be given, yet he chooses to piss it down the toilet - if that is any way to pay back your employees in a proffessional sporting environment along with the fans then I'm on the wrong planet!
