Looking forward to him spunking the money ..

Someone would have to tell him that he cannot sign any players until the summer.

And they better get some thick plexiglass in.

Correct decision terrible timing.

Brian I thank you but you are not Prem standard.

We fluked promotion last year, money was available and he didn't strengthen accordingly. He plays long ball, his team selections have been shocking and he's played L,wood and McAnuff all season.

He will go down as a club legend.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DON'T GIVE THAT NUT JOB DI CANIO THE JOB.

I wonder if phil spencer will play such a big role in player recruitment there?  If so Nicky Hammonds days could be numbered.

Jason Roberts could be a good outside bet to take over.

As a short term (i.e. till the end of the season) appointment to try and avoid relegation PDC wouldn't be the worst option (obviously, as that's Paul Hart). He would give them a boost which might be enough to keep them up.

However, if they give him the job long term they are mad and it will end in disaster.

English football seems quite sane compared with some clubs on the continent.

It would be a shame if he went to a rival.

I can see Piccaretta next to him, who paid for his ticket then as surely he can't afford it?
I'm sure I read on here a while back that Paolo tried to sack Piccaretta in the Summer but had to keep him on because the deal for his preferred No. 2 fell through. Can I take it that, considering recent events - Piccaretta following Paolo's lead in resigning and now being seen with him at Reading, etc, etc, - the story was part of the advertised 80% bollocks?

Damn right. Especially Reading, I have to live here.

He's got another new coat too I see.

Ridiculous sacking. Considering the budget he had I don't think macdermott could have done any better. He had the dressing room with him and got all he could out of the team. They are going down regardless now.

Hypothetical scenario:

Reading assign Di Canio as manager but he can't do enough and they are relegated. Swindon get promoted.

What sort of reaction do you think PDC would get coming back to Swindon from our fans?
