Title: Oreos Post by: Barry Scott on Saturday, April 26, 2008, 13:59:14 Prefer Bourbons, which aren't massively different. I must admit when i tried them i was actually disappointed, because apart from McDonald's, Chicken and Hershey's, it's all yanks eat and they seem to love them for whatever reason. Do they have more calories than normal biscuits?

When they bought them out over here they weren't quite the same, probably me getting older or something like that. I still like them though. Title: Oreos Post by: flammableBen on Saturday, April 26, 2008, 14:06:08 Quote from: "Barry Scott" Do they have more calories than normal biscuits? From some very quick google research. 100g Hobnobs contains 476 calories Source (http://www.weightlossresources.co.uk/calories-in-food/bakery-products/McVities-HobNob-Biscuits.htm). Whilst 100g (well 99g) if Oreos contains 480 calories. Pretty close. My dad used to bring me back some whenever he used to go to America for work. I think that now I've grown up a bit I've got a much more sophisticated biscuit palate. Title: Oreos Post by: Barry Scott on Saturday, April 26, 2008, 14:14:22 I went to America when i was about 10, and fell in love with their cookies. My old chap used to frequent America and would occasionally bring me some back. I used to love putting them in the microwave for about 30 seconds and making them soft. They were the bollocks. Cookies Ahoy, i think they were.
Title: Oreos Post by: RobertT on Saturday, April 26, 2008, 16:00:12 Soft Batch cookies from the US of A are the bollocks. Other than that there biscuit and general confectionary is not up to much, a bit like the beer. They do a good steak though.
Title: Oreos Post by: Barry Scott on Saturday, April 26, 2008, 16:21:43 You're right. Their beer is horrid, there "chocolate" (Hersheys) tastes like it was made entirely from chemicals and always makes me think of that shit on friends. Mockolate. :D
Title: Oreos Post by: Fred Elliot on Saturday, April 26, 2008, 16:23:04 Cadbury's is the best in the world
Title: Oreos Post by: Barry Scott on Saturday, April 26, 2008, 16:46:27 Dairy Milk is the shit, but i very slightly prefer Galaxy , although there's almost nothing between them. I could eat chocolate as my main food source. With ease.

Failing that Willy Wanker. Title: Oreos Post by: axs on Saturday, April 26, 2008, 20:49:22 I'm not fussed about chocolate, never buy it really, although a creme egg or two has been known to disappear in my presence.

However, America has an extremely large number of Micro Breweries, chucking out some really palatable ales. Bells Brewery from Michigan and Breckenridge from Denver being two in particular. So don't generalise when you don't know what you're talking about  Title: Oreos Post by: donkey on Monday, April 28, 2008, 16:40:43 Quote from: "pumbaa" Quote from: "Barry Scott" You're right.
