Saw a picture on way to ground yesterday of Ferry wearing it and didn't like it. Then I saw the kit in the club shop and didn't mind it and now having had a good look I like it. I don't wear replica shirts but my teenage son really likes it so I'll be buying him one this week at the charity match. Perhaps secretly Oxford fans are pissed off because we are to big a club to let the colours blue and yellow get in the way of our success.

Its an alright kit,but somewhere someone has sat down and said "how can we make people talk about this kit are there colours we should't use" meh..cool stuff can be made without ridiculous controversy to fuel to it

I don't even think it is controversial. I didn't look at it and think "Ooooooh that makes us look like Oxford" (because it clearly doesn't) I just thought "Ooooh, Boca Juniors - that looks quite good". If it was primarily yellow I could understand it a bit more but it's only a yellow trim FFS  |

Yes in the meeting they said " yellow and blue, we wont make it that yellow and blue..we'll make it just enough to make people talk" its bullshit,same reason teams end up with pink shirts.Personally I don't care,I don't buy them.Its all very Jubolympics though isn't it..

Unless as you've kind of alluded to, we have some massive historical rivalry with Boca Jrs that I'm not aware of. Or were people this upset when we had a yellow kit in the 80's and early 90's? A blue kit with a yellow trim, what's the problem? |

In the 80s it was a Brazil kit - Not an Oxford one. Thats why there was no upset.
I prefer this year's black kit to the Subaru kit.
