Literally got the email this morning. Went on sale at 10am. I was on on the dot and a number of seats were already gone!

Paul Weller at The Beacon last night. On good form for two hours with a mix of old and new. Personally would prefer be drops the Stanley Road stuff and do more obscure , but that's just me. Locals were of the opinion that they couldn't see where the huge amount of cash had been spent. The sound was better than I remembered, but otherwise it looked similar. At least money does get spent there, pity more cant be found for downtown Swindon.

Saw Johnny Marr on Wednesday at the O2 in Bristol, was phenomenal. His voice is better than Morrisey’s.

A happy coincidence that the very excellent Theatre of Hate are playing Grimsby tonight.
Looking for reasons behind the soporific performances of our midfield this season, I did wonder if UGM crooning his way through the John Legend back catalogue in the dressing room could be to blame.
Could the season have been very different if they had a blast of this to set the tempo before crossing the white line.
Play it loud.

The very wonderful New Model Army Thursday night just gone at The Marble Factory in Brizzzoll. Superb live set and fair play to Justin Sullivan who at 68 years has so much fire, anger and passion to do that all tour. Looking forward to Bearded theory.

Yep. Excellent. They never disappoint. Good venue. Seeing NMA is more an immersive communal gathering than just a gig.

It's a special occasion for sure. I liked the Marble Factory and echo the sentiment regarding protecting it from developers. Still intend to do a whole tour one day but time is against me.
