Still bit of a legend tho....

That goal was simply class, nearly wet myself with pleasure...

Agree with STFCfan, that goal was class, he didn't even move his standing foot and managed to get that much power and accuracy on the shot.  Simply brilliant.

It was a toe punt. The kind often seen being performed by the special needs kid in the playground. Average.

It was quick minded, deadly skill.  Why is it everything this man doesn't get the credit it deserves.  Look at the WC2002 goal he scored against some team, brilliant lob and everyone says it was a fluke.

Post by: janaage on Wednesday, March 9, 2005, 11:33:22
It was a fluke, it wasn't a foul on the keeper (twice), it was a dodgy penalty spot.  Get over it you slag.

We got knocked at the stage we deserved to like most teams.  Wasn't the refs fault, or a dodgy goal here or there, we lost, plain and simple as that.  You slag.

That goal was pure class; to get such power and direction off a standing toe-poke is incredible.

Gotta love a bit of 'Dinho, he's one hell of a player.

Yes, I'd say so. Less showboating but more devastating.

Robben's been unbelievable this year. Chelsea score something like 3 times as many goals when he's playing which is an incredible difference from one player.  He's the difference between Chelsea being a very good side and the best in the world, there recent blip in form was largely down to Robben's injury.

Without him they have a great defence and a decent attack. With him they also have the best attack in the world and he's still only 21. Also he's not a tit like goofy.

still he must look in the mirror and cringe and smile when he gets his wallet out

If you say that Chelsea's attack is made up of Duff, Robben and Drogba. The first two are awesome, but Drogba has yet to prove himself to be a player of the calibre of Henry, van Nistelrooy, Shevchenko et al.

If Drogba is worth 30 million then I'm a tractor wheel my friends

When I say the attack though I mean not just Duff, Robben and Drogba (and Gudjohnsen and Kezmen) but Chelsea as a whole going foward, Lampard and Terry have got 16 goals between them so far.

Drogba is a dangerous player though and shouldn't be underestimated, 11 goals from 20 starts is not a bad record at all.  Kezman now looks to be finding his form as well and his cross for the first goal yesterday was outstanding.

Kezman is a cunt

Not to mention useless.

He's like a bunny in the headlights when it comes to goalscoring.

kezman's the best natural striker chelsea have, i even say above gudjonsen who i rate in the top 5 prem strikers.

bold statement in his current form, but they'll come. he's brilliant

Hasn't stopped him scoring 150 goals from 193 games though.

Did you see that cross yesterday Dave? Absolutely perfect, stunning football, useless?  He'd walk into almost any other premiership team and he's come into form in the last few games.

He's still a cunt.

And not as good as Eidur.

Precisely. Might as well play in the SPL.

And Ben, the pass to Eidur was class. But thats not what my point was about was it...

I think Gujonssen is the greatest Chelsea player ever!

On the subject of Chelsea's attackers, lets not forget about Joe Cole! He was all over their defence and created a few chances as well as hitting the post. Top man!

Joe Cole did have a great game too. The Dutch league may not be as good as the premiership but it does show he is a goalscorer.

It was relevant to your point Dave 'cos you said he was useless.

2 more for Kezman today despite only playing for 15 minutes. Not bad at all.

One was basically a keeper OG and the second took him about 75 touches to force it over the line. Well done.

Title: Ronaldhino...

Does the one that the keeper spilled go down as an OG or as a Kezman goal?? It was on target, but the keeper put it in...

And the second one was a really well worked, clinical finish from Kezman. He's on form.

And he's a cunt.
