Title: reading attendance?
Post by: STFCere on Wednesday, July 26, 2006, 10:49:03
seems as we got 2300 or so against palace, should be more than that given the reduction in price and a local derby. unfortunately i cant make it, gutted cause we probably wont play them again for a while!

i reckon 3800 thoughts?

how many would they bring u reckon?

I'm more than sure a good few Reading fans will go to sing about their supreme greatness and our shitness.

As long it makes us money they can sing all they want!

3500 I think

Reading took 2000 to Didcot......................Considering we are a local Derby then I can see them bringing well over 1000 at least.

Might be that we don't fancy opening up the Bank, or maybe we'll be opening that for pay on the day for them only?

if plastics turn up without a ticket and end up in the arkells/nationwide it could be much less than a friendly...

as mouthwatering this friendly is, i can imagine a large portion of the money having to be spent on police due to the supposed rivalry.

think we'll get 4,000 at least.

I think there is a ban on handbags, so shouldn't be any trouble  :D

Is there still a ban on inflatable robins ?  I think we were one of the few grounds where umbrellas were banned as well, to stop people trying to stab(or poke really) each other through the segregation.

As for Reading, I'll be there and I'm guessing 4-5000.

Looks like they arent very interested either to be honest. Shocked at how shit the reading message boards are. Could well just be away fans in the arkells, so may well switch to the north. Their away support compared to the home is rubbish generally, so no suprise there. Anyone else see when they played Sheff Utd at Brammall lane? Away end had 700 max, for top vs 2nd, late on in the season.

Cant see anymore than 5000. But looks like being an entertaining game.

it is only a friendly. even though i went to fgr and ciren, as well as crawley and aylesbury last year, the fact is that not many people will bother for a friendly.
