Why are all the national sports news so sloppy when reporting on lower league teams?
Just in the last couple of days, as well as this Paolo was banned due to his antics in the Wigan match (BBC - crappy prog on Monday night - Late Kick-Off?).
As we all know these examples are not atypical.
I'm assuming that their reporting of other teams at our level are as shoddy.
Surely its not too difficult to get simple facts right.

I remember when SkySports News announced that we had signed Patrick Kisnorbo...

... In reality, it was Patrick Kanyuka, sigh.

Todays Adver is an interesting read suggesting that 1 or 2 of our players will move on to League 1 clubs in the next few days.  I wonder who?

Hope: Easyjet, Magera, Lanzano
Fear: Caddis, Ferry, Ritchie,
Meh: Risser, Kerrouche

Yup, that sums it up nicely.

I honestly don't believe that Di Canio would come out and say that players would be leaving for League One if it was Caddis, Ritchie or Ferry.

Paranoid me wonders if that was how we were funding an overblown Constable bid.

Sure has hell won't be one of caddis, Ritchie or ferry. My guess would Esajas as he still has a reputation over here from his Sheffield Wednesday days and alot will be judging him on his performances there

struggling League One side for Kerrouche, who has still been our best striker this season (although Benson may surpass that in time.)

Agreed. Another Leon Clarke-esque loan to Chesterfield perhaps?

Agree most likely would be Esajas and Kerrouche - possibly Magera or even Gabilondo.

Am I the only one who doesn't think all that much of Kerrouche - mainly I can recall him doing is running around madly, though he did take a couple of goals well - but so did Dossevi on the (very) odd occasion! I didn't see the Crawley match when he had a couple but I really haven't rated him as good enough if we're to get promoted.
