"Oxford United Football Club can confirm they have received a much improved offer from Swindon Town Football Club for James Constable and after discussions with the player have given permission for him to talk to the club" http://www.oufc.co.uk/page/News/0,,10342~2582202,00.htmlIF (and that's a big if) the reported bid figures are anywhere close to the amounts, surely constable isn't worth a "much improved" offer? we paid £250k for Coxy? I'd have thought figures in that region could net us quite a reasonable striker? I'm slightly worried we might be throwing money down the drain possibly? |

Its times like these that we all realise how much we all hate them lot down the A420. I'm not too fussed about JC being sold, as I think we can do better (and I know for certainty that Wilder feels the same) but to sell him to Swindon is such a kick in the bollocks for us.
