Would like to see him stay, good impact sub, don't think he'll be a starter.

Oli Johnson is now a free agent, he wouldn't be a bad player at this level. But has been inconsistent at league one Hmmm...

We were linked to him not that long ago, not a great scoring record but he could do a job at this level I am sure.

I like Murray. I think he would actually be a better player in the 2 leagues above though as they are less physical. His big problem is his size.

He's got some talent but seems to lack the anticipation. He often started running after the pass had been played against Wimbeldon. It made some of the passing look bad because he was slow off the mark. It's not usually the mark of a great striker.

Seems to be something in that, now I'd probably prefer to see him on a perm than on loan, as AGO said, I reckon he could easily move up the leagues with us.

Interesting as Murray is well liked by Ronan Murray Ipswich fans (Although I dare say he rates his own ability)

I'm going to pay Pele and/or Maradona to dub him the 'Next Jordan Rhodes'   Roll Eyes

From last months Telegraph....

Quote
The Ferdinand family's association with West Ham United could enter a fourth chapter with the east London club hoping to secure the signature of Southend United's Kane Ferdinand.

The Hammers' chief scout Martin Glover has been tracking the Shrimper's  19-year-old midfielder who has impressed this term with the Essex club.

The most junior of the four footballing Ferdinands - Les, Rio and Anton - to have graced Upton Park has bagged four goals in 19 appearances this term for the Essex club.

And West Ham boss Sam Allardyce is preparing a £500,000 offer to bring him to east London.

Ferdinand has 18 months remaining on his contract at Roots Hall but has been tipped to play at a much higher level.

Kane's father is Irish and was born in Dublin and he has already represented the Republic at Under 18 and Under 19 levels.

The London-born midfielder has been at the club since he was 13, he's worked his way up through the youth teams and the reserves, made his debut aged 18 back in January this year and has been a regular ever since.

Interesting, how reliable is that source?

Is he a Simon Ferry type midfielder? I have no idea.

Sounds as liable as the Ipswich rumour. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
