I think it has been since the whole hold the door.. It's interesting, but not much really going on. I'm expecting the last few to make up for it.

hold on, Danaerys arrives back at Mereen by Dragon to set up a face off with the rest of the slavers, Hound kills a bunch of dudes, injured Arya fights in the dark to even the score with the Waif, then announces she's back off home? It's no 'hold the door' but that was a pretty packed episode...

...but the encounter with the Black Fish ended boringly.

The Arya vs the Waif was a little bit rubbish.

The Hound was a bit good!

Danaerys has taken a couple of weeks to get back!

Dany getting dropped off like a mum dropping their kid off at school felt a bit shit to me. Her city is under attack and her dragon just casually flies in and drops her off. I thought the whole point of drogon or whatever he's called was that he's completely unstable and does what he wants. Does Dany have a dragon sat nav or something?

I think about these things too much  Cheesy

Also, where are the two little dragons? Why haven't they come to Tyrrion's aid?

So good to have the hound back!
The C comb was getting dropped a lot tonight
Lightening blew up our router and home phone over the weekend so having to watch in real time with adverts was annoying

Tyrion let them lose, in a scene that had the book readers shitting themselves, as the dragons ate someone who did that previously...

She could turn up at Winterfell yet. Give that Bolton lad a taste of his own medicine as payback for how he dissed her daughter.

He unchained them certainly, but they're still in the underground cavern, no? I imagine they're a bit big for leaving via the front door...

Have we seen them actually in the air?

“A girl is Arya Stark of Winterfell. And I’m going home"

Well, that took long enough. There must be a point to the mostly tedium of her storyline though. Presumably, that she is refined in the art of disappearing. And staggering medical recoveries.

not read anything but,:

one assumes this is headed for a Bolton v Stark showdown, a cercie v grand sparrow showdown, a mother of dragons v whatsit  showdown. surely all too much to fit in before the end of the finale.

I guess the white walkers will make progress come the end as a hook into the next series

The last episode is extra long.

The faceless men story was probably the second most tedious after the Dorne one last season. Thankfully they seem to have forgotten about the sand snakes.
