I would absolutely fucking love it if he did.

The kid was amazing a couple of seasons ago.

rumour that started on thisis - copied into the Adver - would be superb if there's any truth in it, but I can't see it

Lee Holmes was fucking brilliant. To the extent that me and my mates arranged to all chip in to a bet that he'd play for England before his 20th birthday. Alas we couldn't find a bookie that'd take the bet, presumably after they'd been stung by a similar bet involving Chris Kirkland. As it was, we were wrong anyway, but he's still fucking great, alright?

TRUE STORY.

He's not 20 yet is he? - a few appearances in a Town shirt will set him sell on his way

Firstly, I cannot believe he signed for us in December 2004, time flies.

I fully expect this rumour to be a load of rubbish however, with Derby County in the Premiership and the fact that Holmes appears to have made no major progress - the sort of progress that would see him join a better team, his spell at Bradford was hardly spectatular - then you never know what will happen.

Would like to see if he's still got that great potential he had during 04/05... Not against us though!

He's hardly porgressed it seems though, maybe he just had a glimmer of potential and it was more that our team was not that great!  Could be intersesting because I'm not exactly sure he's a Sturrock type of player, but who knows.

I'd have thought he's right up Sturrock's street, out-and-out winger who can actually cross and has pace.

Rumour is that Holmes may be released by Derby, not just loaned out.  Either way, they had no issues loaning him out to Relegation fodder Bradford last season.
