So our number 1 signing and international forward remains on the bench as an unused sub when we need 2 goals at least to have a chance of winning. Hmmmm?

Maybe we should adopt the infamous 2-3-5 formation as made famous by Football Manager?!

It only works if people stay in their assinged roles.

Team looks better now, with the exception of Kennedy and Smith, this Boateng guy arrived or what? As for who starts up front at the weekend is anyones guess. I would go with the two big guys seeing a Connell looks like he's played his way out of the squad

Yes! That makes for an interesting last 10. Fair play to all of them for the turnround.

God this thread is depressing.

I really don't think PDC has lost the team or anything. If he had, why would they have come out in this second half and have a go?

This season is still very young. We know we have some quality players who are very capable of doing better than we are at the moment in the league. Wait until we get a win or two under our belts, and the rest will come.

Too busy on Di Canio speculation...  I cannot fathom why we are so impatient.  It's as though di Canio inherited Man Utd's squad.  People are banding around bizarre and arbitrary figures for when di Canio should be judged, but its ludicrous to even wildy speculate at this stage.

New squad, give the team time to gel and all that.  I think everyone is still hungover from last season and the knee-jerks are a little frightening.  It's a well known fact if you change the manager every ten games the team will become the greatest in Europe...
