Worth a go? Got funny with the Wednesday board cos they got rid of Sturrock, so I wouldn't rule out him coming back.

Good signing?

Get in there straight away - only downside is, that'd leave us with 3 aging centre backs - and Jerel.

Would be surprised if bigger clubs don't have a pop though, but depends on the Sturrock factor...

As long as Coughlan is fit - then having veteran defenders is okay. Sort of place where experience is key.

David Graham however - avoid like plague.

Sturrock basically saved his career while at Plymouth. He loves him.

I'd say we have every chance of getting him if we make an attempt.

sounds good. we have Jerel so with him playing alongside someone like Coughlan or Williams would be a good combo

I predicted he would come here in another thread somewhere.

My tomato sauces told me.

Don't forget plymouth aswell mate.

I can see the whole summer....this player that player. sturrock signed him for this club so swindon will sign him.

In fairness to the Coughlan and Adams speculation - they've both played under Sturrock with 2 different clubs so you'd be stupid if you didn't think they'd be linked.

I doubt they'll be many more because Sturrock's Plymouth team has pretty much disbanded and Sheffield Wednesday have only released a handful of players.

Anyway, I like a rumour.

You can't just say they're all bollocks. Some of them come true. The art is being able to seperate the more feasible ones from the bollocks (of which there is loads)

I don't mid serious rumours but its the ridiculous ones that piss me off.  Remember Lomas or sheringham ones. It'll be SSP this year.

I like rumours or predictions which have a bit of logic behind them, Sturrock's signed them before jobbies, or they've been released and they're our sort of level player doesn't bother me. It's when some annoying cunt comes on and starts saying that his mate told him.

But bear in mind that Vincent played well in the centre towards the end of the season, so what are the chances of him being converted to DC thus not needing cover there with Vinvcent, Ifil & Williams

Storrock does like players that can play in different positions.

I expect Sturrock to use the long term loan market as well next season.
