On their forum it says that they have offered Fatty Evans the manager's job

Also confirmed by reading The Sun on Sunday, who claim he'll get £500k a year!

Comments on that forum seem fairly balanced, to tell the truth.

Anyway, we're still flying under the radar.  Second in the table and a lot of opposing fans still seem not to have twigged that we're better than average this year.  Hope it continues.  Can only work in our favour if it does.

I was under the impression that we didn't play at our best yesterday anyway, so maybe their perception based on yesterday's performance is not all that far off?

I wouldn't say that. We played just as much 'nice stuff' as we have done. I never felt as if we wouldn't win, but I suppose we did give the ball away more than was comfortable.

Have you noticed that every time we win and play well the opposition fans all say their side were crap - they can't seem to appreciate the reason why.

I think our test will come when we don't play particularly well. Can we still pick up points then?

Excellent start to the season, and unlike the last there seems some belief from Cooper and Power that we could actually put a challenge together - Power's quick replacement/attempted replacement of injured first teamers is evidence of that.

No wonder opposition fans get pissed off when we are leading and pass it round at the back, there are few things as frustrating as not being able to get near the ball. I thought we were thoroughly professional yesterday and that was the sort of display we couldn't produce away from home last season - we controlled the match.

I quite enjoyed the smoke bombs (and the youth being ejected) and the predictable post match droning on the matter from the usual suspects on social media.

Gutted I couldn't go yesterday. Byrne's goal just looks better and better every time I watch it back.

Happy times Smiley

I blame the fuckwit who interviewed Cooper for that gaff.

1220 was the final figure

Interesting from those stats is that we took more to Shitty than they brought to the CG

Surprised that we didn't get included on this weekend's list, too: http://the72.co.uk/19271/estimated-away-followings-041014/

We took 2,004 to City compared to the 2,538 who visited the County Ground.
