You got both read out, but post-match they discussed whether Williams deserved your criticism, and SSP said that he didn't. I ain't arguing with SSP when it comes to knowing a striker's business...

Bad day at the office for him yesterday as I have been impressed with him after his 'comeback'.

Our second goal is a thing of beautiful simplicity. Wes->Luongo->Smith->Byrne->Goal.

Highlights here for anyone who hasn't seen them.

Our defending for their goal was shocking.

Yes, was it Turnbull or Stephens that just didn't move with their man?

It's too small to tell on my mobile..

Chuffed with yesterdays result, first away game of the season and a great day out on the booze! Dirty Dicks was full of Swindon for a good hour at Liverpool Street and was a good atmosphere when we got to Orient pub as well.

Won't get too carried away but things are looking promising ahead of a tough November.

Also, could not believe they ran out of chicken balti pies just after the half time whistle had blew! Ended up with a shit meat pie that was 'warm' at best.

2nd goal is a thing of beauty....pass by Mighty Mike, worthy of a higher level.

Apologies to Batch, just seen your early comment....great minds think alike  Smiley

It also says that Sherwood and ferdinand are going to get the job as they were at the game yesterday...totally ignoring the fact that they were their with their mate Lee Power.

I might not be able to sleep properly tonight, knowing that. Oh, no wait, I remember, we got 3 points and I don't give a flying one Smiley

Cheesy it does smell a lot of sour grapes. I like to see what other fans are saying about us and our "new" style of play, none have been particularly complimentary so far, which is quite funny really Smiley

Sometimes we see high flying teams and think 'how are they near the top, we nearly matched them'.

It's quality in vital areas, at key moments that does it.

General consensus at a scan of that forum is "They kept the ball, didn't let us play, and won. They're not that good."

Well, when the opposition have taken the piss for large chunks of the game, it's hard to give credit.

If it wasn't for our occasional misplaced passes they wouldn't have had the few chances they did.

BTW we are now 8/1 3rd favs to win the league (can still get an over generous 20/1 for the JPT)
