Power yet again spending on a player. If the fee is true that is 5th on the all time league 2 record for a player. Our last highest league 2 transfer was £170k on Blair Sturrock. (Transfermarkt.co.uk)
Fingers crossed the investment is a success and he helps us out of this league

Utility forward. Will play up as a two with Smith or Norris, or wide of a three. Rapid, direct and improved in front of goal as last season went on (in the handful of games I saw him play for FGR on TV).
Best player on the pitch in the play-off final.

If we're playing 433 then we needed another winger anyway, so this makes a lot of sense.
Would assume the first choice lineup would be KMB Doidge Woolery, with James rotating on the wings as provide rest of the wide players and From the FGR site. Everything they have to say suggests he's a winger/wide forward. |
