Hello

My laptop battery was fucked - the minute you un-charged it the laptop died. So I bought a new one, which arrived today.

Plugged it in about 15 minutes ago, but it's still saying no charge. Do I need to do something special, wait a bit longer or is there possibly something else wrong with the laptop?

Thanks

David

Why do PC world charge stupid amounts for them knowing that you can find cheaper ones online.

I've not ruled that out, but if the charger was faulty surely the thing wouldn't work at all?

I could be something fried inside which is sending enough power to keep it switched ok but doesnt have enough juice to charge it. as allready said, you can pick them up on ebay for a couple quid.
