The thing that worries me is next season!!  Regardless of where we finish this season I cannot see us being good enough to win the po's.  What will happen to our attendances if we continue to play like we have done for the last few games, revenue down and players sold will be the answer I fear.  Our season tickets are already purchased but if we have to endure a season of boring one-striker- only games then a potential disaster is looming.

I would argue that, within the lower leagues, it's hard to envisage what will happen next season as squads can change so dramatically over the summer months.

Some big hitters could potentially find themselves in L1 next season - Wolves? Blackburn? Even Huddersfield.

This is/was our best chance.

Bit of salt in the wound that Benson was commentating on BBC Wiltshire last night.

Don't understand the love-in for Benson. We are not creating enough chances which is the problem.

And what the bloody hell has happened to Luke Rooney?

Strange, as he looked like a decent option from the bench in KMac's first few games.

15 shots yesterday. 12 on target.

That's above average for us and more than MK had.

15 shots yesterday. 12 on target.

And not a single threatening one among them.

All the more reason for a striker that knows where the back of the net is, such as Benson.

So if he was here, you'd have him over Williams?

No. I'd have him as well as Williams.

What Jay said. Or if we must choose only one up front, I'd have Williams elsewhere such as on the wing.

But would they be played together? I think not.

Bbc has it at 13 with 7 on target.

Either way it certainly didn't feel like we had that many shots, i can think of a tame header and the one the keeper fucked up and that's it.

Did not look like scoring in the slightest, no creativity.

They could make a perfect foil for each other I reckon.

Roberts and RDV can fill in on the wings. And what the bloody hell has happened to Luke Rooney?

Nobody can replace Ritchie's quality, granted.

This, Roberts has actually looked best when being played on the right. Ritchie's loss doesn't excuse the lopsidedness and general shitness of the teams he puts out.
