Really enjoyed the Peter Downsborough episode with Viccy#Morgs(as all the cool kids are cooling him). I could listen to you chat to him about good times and bad all day.

I know you are doing enough already, but filler eps with you chatting to Vic Morgan about different eras of the clubs history would be amazing. Todays episode was amazing (and obviously had the focus on PD) but when you got to PD leaving and the club going off the rails I sort of wanted you to both keep going onto the next 5 years.

Great stuff.

Thanks Ben,

I think I'll do some 'era based' episodes for pre-season unless I'm struggling to fill at week with a guest.

Anything away from the ex-players and weekly round-ups never do well statistically which is a shame but I get it. Tribute episodes tend to be an 'extra' but there were a few scheduling issues this week. I've prepped and overloaded next week. If it works out then I'm have recordings on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

I'm going to talk to one of our older former players in a couple of weeks. Really looking forward to it.

Just did the Nestor Lorenzo and Callum Kennedy ones (really interesting as I always wondered why Kennedy didn't get in the team more as I thought he was quite good when I saw him play). The protein shake story was hilarious!

Thanks again. Brightened my day!

For some reason I always thought Kennedy was from Yorkshire until hearing his podcast

Callum is a very nice chap. He's recording another soon which will be a quest for more light-hearted anecdotes

If you have any requests then let me know.

NEXT UP: Colin Calderwood.

Enjoyed that, thanks Rich!

I was hoping you'd tell him off for not acknowledging the Town fans at Cambridge!

Third of the way through. Pissed myself at the training antics especially Lou’s dog out on the old CG extension.

Loved the Calderwood one, I remember every season he was with the Town, great days and some sad times too.

I'd love to hear the memories of other players from that time.

Another great job Rich

Great stuff again. I never got to see him play, having started support just after he left. Still, I almost feel like I was there, towards the end at least, having worn out a couple of VHS tapes from that era.

Excellent edition. For me Calderwood is the greatest Swindon player in my lifetime. Shame he didn't captain us in the prem but that's a minor gripe really.

Vic Morgan spoke well about PD.

I have to disagree with his comments that 76 is ‘no age’. Personally I think that’s a decent knock and will be more than happy if I get there!

I agree, I would love to get to 76, both my mum and dad had gone by that age.

The Downsborough one was really good, I listened to the Calderwood episode yesterday and that was a brilliant listen. Well done!
