When you compare Bridges to Lita, Lita is far and away the better player. City have the potential to fuck up completely again this year, especially as they are expecting to win all their games 6-0.

Coles is a big loss too, they turned down a £500k bid, wouldn't sell him for £600k then sold him for £200k.

Out of those teams

Chesterfield, Brentford, Port Vale, Colchester Wasall & Southend all beat us last season

And how many of last season's squad have left? It's irrelevent.

Next season the following teams may well be in a struggle with us....Port Vale Scunthorpe and Bormuff.....Chesterfield will be bottom half.

Sarfend will flirt with the drop zone but have enough about them

First eleven potential wise is up there is the top 6.  Most of that remains potential at this point until we play two/three games and can make a better assessment.

Far too many of what I can see will be the starting eleven had ineffective seasons last year hampered by injuries, lack of games and poor form.  Only four players spring to mind that delivered and achieved last season and they are O’Hanlon, Jenkins, Shakes and Nicolau.  The former two both in the league below on loan and a short term deal.

Unless King manages to sign a couple of players before the transfer window shuts on the 31/08/05 then squad wise it’s a big concern and I’d have to put us in the bottom 7 in terms of cover and balance.

At present were to reliant on young players that regardless of potential it still remains to be seen if they can come in and deliver when it counts.

Aside from cover the other big concern has to be how King balances the side.  Over the past three seasons tinkering with the formation has often coincided with some shocking results.  A couple of suspensions or injuries this season and it’s going to become a necessity to juggle the formation and players around from time to time.

Back to the original question it’s tough to gauge at this point but I’d have to say the following are in a worse position to us at present….

Blackpool
Chesterfield
Colchester
Franchise
Port Vale
Saaarfend
Walsall

Saying that there are a lot of teams in the same position as us where it could go either way.  Rotherham, Barnsley, Oldham, Huddersfield and Scunthorpe are all hard to gauge at this point.

Two or three players this week may make a massive difference but I’m not holding my breath.

Blackpool
Southend
Walsall
Port Vale
Chesterfield
Clchester (maybe)

And there are many on a par with us. I really don't think we will struggle this year. Mid-table to 6th is my prediction

It'll be shit or bust, if we get off to a good start we could do a Lu'on, if we get off to a bad start and players heads drop we could be in for a winter of discontent.  But that's fitba!!
