I'm massively unbothered about all of this.
i think it's great fun, was awful when chelsea did it but this is completely different, think maybe because at least they're buying players that are good to watch and it'll be exciting, unlike chelsea

City fans have always had a selfdepricating view of their club and life. This was one of the reasons that they enjoyed their season in L1 and because of their attitude, it made a refreshing change, unlike Leeds Utd.
It'll be interesting to see if their fans views and expectations change dramatically, as result of their new found wealth and high profile signings.

I await a few Year 7s at the start of term pretending to be Man City fans. Depressing, but one kid who has family in Hartlepool supports them and some premier league team...however he gave me stick when Harlepool beat us, so I hope he carries this on and starts to follow Hartlepool properly.

I've been saying for a while, it'll be interesting to see if Man City shirts start popping up everywhere. Quite frankly, anybody seen in Swindon with a Man City shirt on (bar the very few real Man City fans) deserves some serious stick.

Yeah but all you will hear from all the new City fans is that they supported the team whilst they were crap/their dad supported the team/Grandpa played for the team or some other excuse like we already get from United, Chelsea and Liverpool fans.
