From that Adver article it looks like they are trying to head off any punishment from the FA by doing something quickly. If it means the club doesn't get punished then it's harsh on the lad but has to be done I guess.
The law is a bit bigger than the FA......end of. |

Just to say the older fella was due to report to Chelmsford police station last week.
They did at least have the courtesy to ring him the day before and say not to bother.
But they knew all along that he had nothing to do with it. Hes missed a good month of games on a bail condition.

Sorry to keep dredging this up. But I think people should know about it.
But Chris Isaacs from the club rang this lad up yesterday morning, and told him he was still banned by the club from the County Ground because he had been seen in the County Ground whilst he was on bail.
