I would have Ben Gladwin back if hes fit enough, Stuart Moore is one of the worst keepers ever to wear a Town shirt though. I see Ryan Harley has been released by them too and ex Town target Joe Mason.

Gladwin doesn’t get close to our side now JJ. Doughty, Keshi, DJ, Grant, Rose - all players that would keep him out.

Gladwin hasn't started a league game since April 2017. Not had a great time since leaving Town in 2015.

If hes fit he would be a handy backup, but yes I think we have better already at the club. A few ex town players being released so far from L1 and L2 clubs, not really one of them would I want back though. My mate from Swansea says they are about to sign Freddie Woodman from Newcastle on a free but seem likely to release their other keeper Erwin Mulder meaning Benda will be backup unless they sign 2 keepers. He also says that head coach Steve Cooper rates Benda but he still doesn't think hes ready for the 1st team yet there. I don't mind LMc in goal but after his slow and slightly shakey start at Swindon Benda went from strength to strength and looked very solid, I think we may be able to snatch him back for 1 more loan spell. If not then a new keeper would be a priority whether on loan or a perm deal.

I don't know why but the thing with Benda feels a little bit Sir Wes, for me. I have a feeling he will be our season coup and we'll the tall bastard on a perm.

Blackpool Gazette amongst others
Probably as reliable as the Swindon Advertiser.

It is inevitable that there will be interest from other clubs given that he would be a substantial asset in any league one/two team.

It’ll come down to 2 things.
1. Can we afford him/ if so, is he worth it?
2. Does he want to return? If yes, he’ll probably want to know who else is staying. If the OOC players piss off he won’t fancy it.

Think he would definitely be an asset assuming Doyle stays. Form dropped off a bit once we lost Doyle last season, or should I say this season.

Listening to an interview with Jason Euell and he mentioned in passing that Gary Elkins is now a prison warden. Interesting career change that!

He was also a self employed plasterer playing for AFC Wallingford

As usual I bet there will be some on Twitter begging him to come back to Town, I must have missed something when he was here as he was pretty poor from what I remember.
